This Usage and Service Policy (“Policy”) governs the provision, usage, and operation of products, systems, and services supplied by HPC Axis Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) to clients (“you”, “the Client”). By engaging our services, placing orders, or utilising supplied hardware, software, or network infrastructure, you agree to comply with this Policy in full.


2. Scope of Services

HPC Axis Ltd provides:

  • Wholesale supply of IT hardware, components, peripherals, and software.
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of individual workstations, office networks, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Network architecture, server deployment, virtualisation, cooling, power, and redundancy solutions.
  • Consultancy and lifecycle management services for IT systems.

All services are delivered by qualified engineers in compliance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable legislation.


3. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate technical requirements, system specifications, and site information.
  • Ensure safe access to installation sites and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain any user accounts, credentials, and security measures related to supplied systems.
  • Notify HPC Axis of any system modifications, third-party installations, or environmental hazards affecting equipment.

4. Usage Guidelines

  • Hardware and software supplied must be used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and licensing agreements.
  • Misuse, unauthorised modifications, or attempts to bypass system security may void warranties or support agreements.
  • HPC Axis reserves the right to suspend support or access if equipment is used in a manner that compromises safety, security, or compliance.

5. Warranty, Liability, and Support

  • HPC Axis warrants that supplied hardware and installations will meet agreed specifications and perform under normal operating conditions.
  • Liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses is excluded.
  • Warranty periods are subject to manufacturer terms and any extended service agreements.
  • Post-installation support includes hardware servicing, software updates, network monitoring, and maintenance visits as agreed in the service contract.

6. Pricing, Payment, and Terms of Supply

  • All quotations are indicative unless confirmed in writing.
  • Payment terms are 30 days from invoice unless otherwise agreed.
  • Ownership of hardware remains with HPC Axis Ltd until full payment is received.
  • Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs as per statutory regulations.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • All information shared between HPC Axis and clients is confidential.
  • Any technical designs, system configurations, or business information provided by the Client remain their property.
  • HPC Axis complies with UK Data Protection laws and ensures secure handling of any client data during installations or service activities.

8. Compliance and Safety

  • All installations comply with applicable Health & Safety and electrical regulations.
  • Clients must ensure site safety and provide any necessary permits or risk assessments.
  • HPC Axis engineers are trained to work safely in industrial, office, and data-centre environments.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  • Clients are encouraged to contact HPC Axis Ltd to resolve disputes amicably prior to legal action.
